The short version

This site doesn’t use cookies or advertising trackers. The only personal information we get is what you send us through the quote form or by email, and we use it to reply to you and do the work you ask for.

Who we are

Strata Printing is a 3D printing studio in Knoxville, Tennessee. You can reach us at [email protected].

What you send us

When you fill out the quote form, we receive what you type into it: your name, your email address, your phone number if you add one, and the details of your project. We use it to reply, put together a quote, and carry out any work you hire us for. We don’t sell it, and we won’t add you to a mailing list.

How the quote form works

The form is run by Formspree, a service that receives your submission, keeps a copy, and emails it to us. That stored copy means a request can’t get lost if an email doesn’t arrive. You can read how Formspree handles data in its privacy policy.

Files and drawings

If you send us a model, drawing or photo for a quote, we treat it as confidential. We use it only to price and make your piece, and we won’t publish, share or reuse it for anything else without asking you first.

Cookies and analytics

This site doesn’t set any cookies and doesn’t run advertising trackers, so there’s nothing to opt out of. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t follow you to other sites. If any of this changes, we’ll update this page first.

Services that load with the page

A couple of outside services see basic technical details when you visit, like your IP address and browser type, because they’re needed to deliver the page:

• Cloudflare carries traffic to the site, protects it from attacks, and gives us the visit counts mentioned above.
• Google Fonts supplies the typefaces the site uses.

We don’t use either one to track you, and our own server doesn’t keep visitor logs.

How long we keep things

We keep enquiries and emails for as long as we need them to work with you and for our business records. If you’d like your enquiry and any files deleted, just ask and we’ll do it.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we’ll get back to you. Depending on where you live, you may have other rights under laws like the GDPR or state privacy laws.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site handles information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
